Two former CIA agents on the Danny Jones Podcast
This is a FASCINATING conversation.
I’ve become obsessed with Andrew Bustamante. I first heard him about a year ago on Lex Fridman’s podcast, and promptly devoured at least 10 hours of the guy’s ideas.
He is the definition of an independent thinker, and his perspective on many of the topics he discusses has prompted me to re-consider and sharpen my points of view.
With Danny Jones and John Kiriakou, he discusses America, democracy, and human nature.
Especially interesting to me is their conversation about the framework that guides America. Spoiler alert: it’s change. It starts around minute 27 (and 18 seconds, to be exact).
I bet listening will make you think more deeply about your worldview.
I also recommend these conversations with Andrew Bustamante: Danny Jones Podcast (again), Modern Wisdom, Julian Dorey Podcast.
I have many more I like, too - if you want ‘em, give me a shout.
Boyd Varty on tracking your life
“Babe, wake up. New Boyd Varty just dropped.”
Good Timber by Douglas Malloch
Good timber does not grow with ease,
The stronger wind, the stronger trees,
The further sky, the greater length,
The more the storm, the more the strength.
By sun and cold, by rain and snow,
In trees and men good timbers grow.
